My breathwork sessions are themed towards the energies of the season. This morning happens on the full-moon and we are in the depth of Winter - the season of the Water element. The wisdom of this season is to learn to transform any fear of the darkness, cold and silence into a deep trust in the pause, the stillness and the waiting without waiting.
We breathe into the deep, inner waters of our winter bodies - melting any internal “ice” by recognizing, feeling and and releasing any fear, clearing stagnation, and restoring fluidity where it is needed. We help our selves to nourish our vitality, rebuild reserves, and reconnect with our inner knowing and wisdom.
The breath is our most intuitive and accessible tool for self-care. It helps us shift emotional and energetic states in ways that few other practices can, brings us in to the now and into our bodies. In a breathwork session, you are guided through a breathing technique designed to help quiet the mind and connect deeply with the body. It is a powerful yet very accessible two-part breathing pattern through the mouth that you do lying down with your eyes closed. Supported by the breath, you explore areas of physical tensions, stagnant energy and emotions, meet them with compassion and invite them to release.
Breathwork has a profound potential to rewire deep held mental, emotional and physical patterns. I show up with the intention to hold an empowering space for you, where you feel supported, held & safely guided to do the work that you choose to do. I have no agenda for anything specific to happen - you’re always in control of your experience.
