Coming home to your self

Breathwork

The breath is our most intuitive and accessible tool for self-care. It is always here. It is amazing how something so simple can hold such deep transformative power. The breath helps us shift emotional and energetic states in ways that few other practices can. It brings us in to the now and home to our bodies. It opens our connection to our selves.

I guide groups and individuals through a breathing technique designed to help quiet the mind and connect deeply with the body. It is a powerful yet very accessible two-part breathing pattern through the mouth that you do lying down with your eyes closed. It is an activating breathwork practice, but with a clear feminine energy to it. It is allowing and adaptive, encouraging an opening to even more honest self love, self healing and radical self acceptance.

This breathwork practice meets you exactly where you are and will give you what you need for each session. Supported by the breath, you explore areas of physical tensions, stagnant energy and emotions, meet them with compassion and invite them to release. My experience is that Breathwork has a profound potential to rewire deep held mental, emotional and physical patterns. I show up with the intention to hold an empowering space for you, where you feel supported, held & safely guided to do the work that you choose to do. I have no agenda for anything specific to happen - you’re always in control of your experience.

After a breathwork session I always feel greater clarity, centeredness and expansion. I have a deeper connection to my body and spirit. It is a return to my pure energy - who I am and what it feels like to be in my body beneath those layers of tension, stress or stories that might hold me back or weigh me down.

About Breathwork

Who is Breathwork for?

Breathwork is for anyone who wants to feel more connected, clear, and grounded in their life. You don’t need any prior experience - just a willingness to breathe deeply and an open mind. Some situations where it can be extra helpful is when people:

  • Hold a lot of tension in the body or feel stuck or stagnant

  • Want to process and release emotions in a safe, embodied way

  • Struggle with overwhelm or stress

  • Find it challenging to rest deeply

  • Seek insights to personal challenges or patterns

  • Want to build a deeper relationship with their body, energy & intuition

  • Want to recharge, clear and increase their energy

What a session looks like

One-on-ones are 75 minutes, length of group sessions vary depending on size of the group and if other modalities are included in the experience (yoga, journaling etc).

  • Arriving together, introduction and intention setting

  • Grounding & landing followed by a guided breathwork (20–30 minutes)

  • Time to rest & integrate

  • Optional reflection, sharing or discussion

Breathing with the seasons

Nature is very close to my heart and has become my greatest guide.  My practice is to tap into the energy and wisdom of each season in nature.  Since a few years I am using the five phases of traditional Chinese medicine as my main map.

My Breathwork group sessions have a clear intention and are themed in alignment with the energies of the season.

When we meet for one-on-ones we set the intention together based on your needs and my intuition on what might serve your experience.

Enter these turning points,
Where the rhythms of life transform into each other.

Breath flows in, filling, filling.
In this moment, drink eternity.

Breath flows out, emptying, emptying.
Offering itself to infinity.

Cherishing these moments,
Mind dissolves into heart,
Heart dissolves into space,
Body becomes a vibrating field,
Pulsating between fullness and emptiness.

- Radiance sutras, verse 26
